PowerWorks, Pacific Winds, renewable wind power and solar power: Projects

We currently own four operating wind power projects, consisting of over 900 wind turbines, totaling 95,000 kilowatts, located near Livermore, California, as listed in the first four projects below. In addition, we are pursuing new wind and solar power projects, which are in various stages of development, as listed below, however, some projects are not listed. A brief description of select projects is provided by clicking on the project of interest.

50 MW WPP 87 Wind Farm, California
The 50 MW Windpower Partners 87 (WPP 87) wind farm is located near Livermore, California, which operates under a long-term power purchase agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric Company. We own a portion of this project, along with our partners. We also provide the operation and maintenance services for this project.

30 MW WPP 88 Wind Farm, California
The 30 MW Windpower Partners 88 (WPP 88) wind farm is located near Livermore, California, which operates under a long-term power purchase agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric Company. We own and operate this project.

5 MW WEG Wind Farm, California
The 5 MW WEG wind farm is located near Livermore, California, which operates under a long-term power purchase agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric Company. We own and operate this project.

10 MW Altamont Wind Farm, California
The 10 MW Altamont wind farm is located near Livermore, California, which operates under a long-term power purchase agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric Company. We own and operate this project.

100 MW Bluebonnet Wind Farm, Texas
The proposed 100 MW Bluebonnet wind farm will be located on farm and pasture land in Lamb County, Texas.

159 MW Apple Creek Wind Farm, North Dakota
The proposed 159 MW Apple Creek wind farm would be located on farm and pasture land in Burleigh County, about 20 miles northeast of Bismarck, near Baldwin, North Dakota.

94 MW Rushmore Wind Farm, South Dakota
The proposed 94 MW Rushmore wind project will be located on farm land in Sully County, South Dakota. We are currently working on site development activities.

48 MW Revolution Wind Farm, Kansas
The proposed 48 MW Revolution wind project will be located on farm land in Pawnee County, Kansas.

10 MW Kauai Solar Project, Hawaii
PowerWorks’s submitted a proposal to Kauai Island Utility Coop to build a new 10 MW solar project — one of the largest solar PV projects in the world.

18 MW Alkali Wind Farm, Idaho
The proposed 18 MW Alkali wind farm would be located on sugar beet farm land in Elmore County, about 60 miles east of Boise, near Glenns Ferry, Idaho.
