We are seeking ambitious, self-motivated people to operate and maintain our wind projects, located at our Altamont Pass shop-offices facility, just off of Highway I-580 at the Grant Line-Byron exit, between Tracy and Livermore, California. We are seeking both entry level and experienced Windplant Technicians. All positions require a minimum high school education.

For entry level positions, experience with electrical and/or mechanical equipment helpful.

Advanced positions require technical knowledge of wind turbines or similar advanced knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment; mechanical and electrical trouble shooting and repair; repair and/or replace worn-out parts; preventive maintenance; climbing wind turbine towers; work outdoors; computer skills helpful; and good documentation and writing skills helpful.
